We’ve got a ton on the horizon for 2018, but the biggest change to our organization will be a heavier focus on education. While we’ve always made partner education a priority, we are going to be focusing on more training for new products as well as problem solving and making our agents more efficient.
We’re Taking It On the Road
We are planning a roadshow of educational tours around cable: how to sell it and how to avoid the challenges of selling it. Our expertise in cable is unmatched, and we think it’s high time our agents benefit as much as possible from our time-tested experience.
We’re also going to do some training from various UCaaS providers around how to sell UCaaS — not why to sell UCaaS. It’s important for agents to know what specific problems exist in the marketplace today that UCaaS solves, and how to ask the right questions. We want our partners to understand how to turn a circuit sale into a bigger revenue deal because they are bringing UCaaS into the conversation and solving problems for businesses.
We’re excited about a tool that we’ve created with Clear Connect that will allow us to work with a whole new subset of partners to get leads to our inside sales team. This is the “business easy” button. And will provide yet another way for agents to capitalize on SMB leads without having to touch them as much. We know there are agents out there who don’t want to sell SMB, but we’re here to help them pick up the money they are leaving on the table and fulfill those leads.
We’ve also got some contests for our downline partners coming up that are specific to cable and UCaaS. Cool prizes are on the horizon!
Year over year, we’ve experienced growth, and 2017 was no different. It was our biggest year ever in terms of sales including cable and UCaaS, and in terms of numbers of partners. We expect 2018 to be bigger and better.
